eBay is one of the most well-known online “markets” currently available. You can setup to send and/or receive a variety of emails from them. Many sellers are using this to send advertisements to your Gmail inbox. Unfortunately, this can result in lots of unwanted emails just the same as emails you do want. With all of the notifications and offers, it's fantastic method to get overloaded with spam very quickly.
It's best to try and opt out of these kinds of emails from within your eBay account, but if for any reason you can't do that, you can follow these instructions to install Block Sender and start blocking unwanted emails from eBay:
- Install Block Sender for Gmail by clicking the “Install” button found in the upper right-hand corner of this site. The installation won’t take long. Open Gmail when it is done.
- After signing up for a Block Sender account and linking your Gmail account to Block Sender, open the unwanted email from eBay, and click the "Block" button on the messages toolbar.
- Select the "Emails from this sender" option.
Once this is done, you will no longer receive emails from that eBay email account. Although you should know that if you ever decide you want to start receiving their emails again you can simply unblock the email.
