How to Turn Off SHEIN Push Notifications on Your Phone

SHEIN doesn't provide an in-app settings option to turn off notifications. So, you'll need to turn off app notifications from your device settings.

On Android

1. Open Settings.
2. Navigate to Apps.
3. Search for the SHEIN app.
4. Tap Notifications.
5. Disable all notifications or just turn off specific categories (such as news and offers).

On iPhone

1. Open Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap SHEIN.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Toggle off Allow Notifications.

How to Unsubscribe from SHEIN Emails

SHEIN marketing emails include an unsubscribe link at the bottom, which you can click to opt out. Once you click the link, you'll stop receiving promotional emails from SHEIN.

Note: It may take a few days for the unsubscribe request to take effect. And most users complain that they keep receiving SHEIN emails despite unsubscribing. If you're looking to stop SHEIN emails immediately, skip to this section.

Use SHEIN's Contact Preferences Page (Website)

You can also opt out of all SHEIN communication (emails, SMS, WhatsApp messages, in-app reminders) from the shein.com website settings in one place.

1. Log in to shein.com.
2. Go to the Contact Preferences page.
3. Toggle off any communications you don't want to receive, e.g., emails, SMS, etc.

How to Stop SHEIN Text Messages

If you opted into SMS alerts at checkout or signup, reply STOP to any text from SHEIN. This opts you out of their SMS marketing list. You can also turn SMS off from the Contact Preferences page above.

How to Block SHEIN Emails If They Keep Coming

Unsubscribing from SHEIN emails may take a few days to take effect, and in some cases, the emails may still not stop.

If that's the case, you can block the sender directly in your email provider.

In Gmail

1. Open any email from SHEIN.
2. Click the three-dot menu on the right-hand side.
3. Select Block SHEIN from the dropdown menu.
4. Click Block in the pop-up menu.

Once you've blocked a SHEIN email address, all future emails from that email address will land in the Spam folder.

Stop SHEIN Emails with Block Sender

Here's how to stop getting emails from SHEIN using Block Sender:

1. Install Block Sender if you haven't already and link your Gmail account. (It just takes a few minutes)
2. Open a marketing email from SHEIN.
3. Click on the Block icon in the toolbar and select Emails from this sender.

OR select Emails from this domain to block all emails from that particular domain.
4. Next, go back to your inbox and click the Block icon again.

5. Select Manage Blocks from the dropdown.
6. Find the block you just created and click Edit.

7. Select the Delete (skip trash) option for the Where should the blocked emails go field and click Save Changes.
